The Edwards Farmers’ Market is an old-fashioned farm and food market. It’s the LOCALS’ market and the favorite market of second homeowners. 2011 is our eighth year of operation. We specialize in food, have a central location in downtown Edwards and have convenient, free, on-site parking. The Edwards Farmers’ Market focuses on high quality Colorado farm and gourmet food products and it attracts some of the finest farmers and food vendors in Colorado. Farmers arrive early on Saturday mornings with refrigerated trucks loaded with freshly-picked conventional and organic fruit & vegetables and with Colorado lamb, beef, pork, chicken, eggs, honey and cheese. Gourmet food vendors come from all over Colorado with their freshly-made specialties.

Fruit and vegetables at the Edwards Farmers’ Market are picked just hours before you buy them. Fruit and vegetables at supermarkets are picked days and sometimes a week or more before you buy them. You can really taste the difference between vine and tree ripened Colorado fruit/vegetables and generic supermarket fare that is often picked green and shipped from hundreds or even thousands of miles away.

Specialty food vendors work from colorful tents selling freshly-made breads, pastries and pies. Others offer a delightful selection of Colorado meats; wild Alaskan seafood; pastas & sauces; jams; olive oils & balsamic vinegars; tamales; organic spices; french table linens and more. You can do much of your entire week’s food shopping at the Edwards Farmers’ Market. Selections vary weekly so arrive early for best selection.

Stop by and enjoy the market’s ambiance. Meet friends and neighbors and relax in the shade. Popular food vendors provide gyros, crepes, BBQ, tamales and pizza that will delight your palate.
